Regeneration Process

 After the Soft Rinse system has produced roughly 1000 gallons of softened water, it must then be regenerated. This process is rather simple due to its unique design. Basic inexpensive water softener "pellet salt" is added to the system and flushed through the resin media tank for 18 to 20 minutes. This process removes the minerals collected by the resin in the media tank. After this easy process the system is ready once again to produce softened water. This process can be repeated hundreds of times as the life expectancy  of the resin is approximately 12 years.
